The Return Of FP

So I’m back.
I’m sorry my absence was longer than expected – I got home last Monday but then started year twelve on Tuesday and just getting back into the swing of everything has left me with no time for anything.

My trip to Vietnam was one of the greatest things I have ever done. I learned so much, and just not about history. Being over there, seeing the things we saw, and experiencing the things we did taught me so much about my life, and just how lucky I am. It was a brilliant experience, and I am a changed person because of it. I plan on posting more about my trip later this week.

Here’s a quick catch up on what else has been happening with me in terms of pop-culture addictions:

Watching – Merlin Season Four, Glee Season Three, Doctor Who Season Six (I am yet to watch the finale, even though it is downloaded and waiting for me on my laptop. I wish there were more hours in a day!)

Reading – The Violet Eden Chronicles. I’m currently on book three, Emblaze (released last week via Hachette Australia) and it is beyond addicting. Will review in depth once I finish.

Listening To – One Direction, Glee Soundtrack (Darren singing Last Friday Night = Perfection), Hot Chelle Rae, Ocean Grove

Frustratingly Dying Of Jealousy Because Of – Evanna Lynch, Scarley Byrne and Colin Morgan, AKA three of my favourite people ever, are all going to be at Supanova in Brisbane in just under three weeks. The problem is I live 1379km from Brisbane, and one just completed overseas trip and one upcoming overseas trip means my parents are less than willing to pay for airfares and accommodation. So close, yet so far. I am devastated guys, devastated.

Normal posting will resume from now, however, as I am starting my year twelve work load, it may be slightly more sporadic than in years gone by.
Speaking of year twelve, best of luck to everyone about to begin their HSC/VCE/IB/etc. You can do it!

  1. I am already so addicted to the new season of Merlin, so glad it's back on. And I'm thrilled that Colin Morgan, Evanna Lynch and Scarlett Byrne are coming to Brisbane as I missed Tom Felton last year…I'm looking forward to hearing about Vietnam, I went there last year and it was one of the best experiences of my life.x

  2. H,In NSW we begin year twelve at the start of term four so we can have four full terms of year twelve before our hsc. They decided it was more beneficial for us to have 3 terms of yr11 and 4 of yr11 rather than the other way around 🙂 I think we're the only state that does this, but it's pretty cool. xo

  3. Wow, you are so lucky! I have always wanted to go on a 'mission' trip to some foreign country, but I've never got the chance. And I might be back to blogging, not for sure yet though. =)♥Abby
