Valentine’s Day Review

On Saturday Toong came to visit, and we finally went to see Valentine’s Day. After hearing mixed reviews, I wasn’t sure what to expect, but it was freaking awesome. The part I expected to be the highlight, Taylor Squared, was actually one of my least favourite parts. Tsweezy really should stick to singing. My favourite part actually happened at the press conference of the footballer character. If you’ve seen it, you’ll know what I mean.
I loved how all the stories intertwined with each other, and how all the characters were related in some way. The cast was amazing, although casting Patrick Dempsey as the best Doctor in his field was such an original choice 😐
I really didn’t pick one of the bigger twists which was a nice change (speaking of twists, there was a preview for Rpatz’s new movie “Remember Me”. If you want to be surprised and can’t be bothered to see the movie, google the shock twist ending. Actually, after reading the ending, I now want to see the movie…), as usually in romcoms everything is so freaking predictable.
Although admittedly cheesy (it is called called Valentine’s Day though, so it’s kind of expected), I absolutely loved it. If you haven’t already seen it, make sure you do. It’s such a feelgood movie that will have you leave the theatre laughing and smiling and singing ‘Today Was A Fairytale’.

  1. McSteamy was def my favourite character in the film =D. Especially at the end… *cough man on plane cough*.Taylor Swift was just terrible. She REALLY should stick to singing (I cringed almost every time she came on screen… I guess I had expected an actually good performance from her lol).I also loved Ashton Kutcher's part – he was so cute! I would want him to be my best friend =].Sorry, now I'm just rambling and taking up all your comment space. Oops!
