I am officially in love with the new DOLLY diary. It’s had a makeover and is looking a lot prettier than its sisters of years gone by; the ugly pink plasticy covers have been replaced by this gorgeous collage. Mainly gorgeous if you ignore the twilight pic directly above the word DOLLY and pay attention to Joe chilling at the dodgers game over on the left. It helps if you also ignore Camilla, his game partner. There’s also space to include a pic of your own, which I plan on filling with one of my bffs asap 🙂
Each month is colour coded and opened with a cute collage in those colours. I’ve included March as my example, as we know that’s when all the cool kids are born. Well, if you ignore Justin Bieber, that is.
At the end of every month is a picture of a ‘hottie’. I use that term lightly, as somehow Short Stack have managed to be included. On the plus side, as you can see below, Nick’s gorgeous face smiles back at you once you get to the end of October, and sooner still is Joe, who is featured after May. Kevin’s isn’t included. Short Stack and not Kevin, DOLLY? What were you thinking?
At the bottom of every page is a cool game or quiz, my favourite of which is shown below. Celebrity birthdays are also marked by including a picture of the birthday boy or girl. Jonas fans breathe out, Kevin’s not ignored this time. If you look closely, you can see my shocking handwriting marking my Tsweezy concert 😛
At the back of the diary are some star signs, some crosswords and more quizzes (there are sporadic cross words and spot the differences throughout the diary as well), a place for addresses and some note pages.
All in all, it’s $12.95 well spent, and I know it’s kind of late to be buying diaries, but if you haven’t already got one, go out and get this one right now.
